How to add your VAT number

Are you a business customer from EU? Add your VAT number to avoid being charged VAT on your purchase.

To avoid being charged VAT (value added tax) on your purchase, make sure you add a valid VAT number to your Shield account, with an EU billing address.

When adding a valid VAT number no tax will be added to your invoices moving forward.

Here's how you add your VAT number

  1. Go to Billing on Shield

  2. Add a valid VAT number in the TAX ID section

    1. Choose tax type (country)

    2. Add VAT number with country modifier (ie DK39484358)

  3. (Keep your business billing details updated)
