Step 1 — Check your verification status
Locate the key icon in the top right corner. The color of the dot shows your verification status
🟢 Green dot = verified & connected
🔴 Red dot = not verified & disconnected

Step 2 — Verify & connect your account
Follow the steps below to verify your account:
Log in to LinkedIn (on the profile you wish to connect to Shield)
Copy your License key by clicking the key icon (top right corner)
Insert your License key in the Chrome extension
Click "Verify"
Note: Upon clicking "Verify", you will be automatically logged out of LinkedIn. This is a normal part of the verification process and indicates successful verification.

Step 3 — Keep your account connected
Best practices to prevent your account getting disconnected:
Keep the Chrome extension installed in the browser you use for LinkedIn
Leave your key in the installed extension to seamlessly reconnect only if connection is lost
